  • Same-Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 2:00 PM Mon - Fri are dispatched the same day via eParcel Post with tracking. Orders placed after 2:00 PM are shipped the next business day.
  • Flat Rate Shipping: Enjoy a flat rate shipping fee with eParcel Post, ensuring delivery within 2-4 days to Australian Eastern Capitals. Delivery to rural areas may take slightly longer.

Upgrade to eParcel Express:

  • Express Shipping Option: Upgrade to eParcel Express at checkout for faster delivery. This method ensures next business day delivery to most locations Australia-wide (note: delivery to non-metropolitan areas may take longer).

Delivery Timeline:

Return and Refund Policy

Welcome to Our Easy Returns!

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, you can return it even if you simply change your mind. Just follow our returns process to ensure a smooth experience.

How to Initiate a Return:

  1. Contact Us First: Before sending back any products, please contact our customer service team to obtain a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).

    Include the following information:

    • Your order number
    • Details of the product(s) to be returned
    • Reason for the return

Special Exceptions for Personal and Food Items:

For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns for change of mind on personal or food items unless the item is faulty, significantly different from what was shown to you, not performing as expected, or in breach of manufacturer's warranties or consumer guarantees.

Non-returnable items include, but are not limited to:

  • Personal Items: Pillows, eye masks, face masks, gaiters, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, sleeping liners, water bottles, mugs, hair appliances, manicure sets, ear plugs, earbuds, headphones.
  • Food Items: Back Country Cuisine Freeze Dried Food, Outdoor Gourmet Freeze Dried Food.

Note: Freeze Dried Foods must be stored correctly to ensure longevity. Once they have been in your possession, we cannot verify their handling or storage, thus we cannot return them to stock.

Returns at Our Expense:

We will replace, refund, or credit any product at our expense under the following conditions:

  • You received a damaged or faulty product (claims must be made immediately upon receipt).
  • We sent you the wrong product.
  • We did not meet fair trading requirements as governed by Australian law.

Shipping Returns:

  • If you received a product via Australia Post, our customer service team will email you a RAN.
  • Use Australia Post Registered Post to return the package to avoid loss. Once we receive the parcel, we will refund your shipping costs.

Returns at Your Expense:

We accept returns even if:

  • You've changed your mind about the product.
  • You made an incorrect choice.
  • You failed to verify and accurately provide information when placing an order.

Conditions:

  • Claims must be made within 30 days of receiving your product.
  • Items must be in 100% resaleable condition. Used or imperfect items are not eligible for return.
  • A restocking/admin fee of up to 20% of the item value may apply.

Shipping Your Return:

You can choose your preferred delivery method (Australia Post or courier). Ensure you use Registered Post to avoid loss.

Return Authorisation Number (RAN):

A RAN is required before returning any product. Once issued, the package must be returned within 14 days. All products must be in original, unmarked packaging, including accessories and documentation.

Replacement and Refund Process:

  • Replacement: A replacement product will be shipped at our expense once we receive the returned product. Delivery time is based on product availability on our website.
  • Refund/Credit: Refunds include all shipping and associated costs. No refund/credit will be issued until we receive the returned product. Refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for the purchase.

Prepaid plans

There are several prepaid plans, which fall under three categories: By the Month, By the Day and By the Minute.

By the Month

The By the Month plans have a monthly fee which entitles you to either a combination of talk and text, or cheaper calls. The daytime and evening and weekend minutes apply both to outgoing and incoming calls. 

By the Day

Fido’s By the Day plans are a good option for travellers who won’t be visiting Canada for a full month. These plans are also ideal for people who don’t use their phone every day. 

By the Minute

The simplest plan is ideal for people who don’t use their phone frequently.

The charge per minute applies to both outgoing and incoming calls. On all prepaid plans, a 75c 911 emergency access fee will be taken from your account balance every month.

Long distance and international calls

International calls to the United States and long distance calls within Canada are charged at 40c per minute. Please note that these charges are on top of the cost of a regular local call.

International calls to landlines and mobile phones in Australia and the UK cost 75c per minute. Calls to New Zealand cost $1.10 per minute and calls to Singapore cost 91c per minute.

Save on international distance calls home

You can significantly reduce the cost of international calls with the Rebtel service. Rebtel works by assigning a local US number to each of the regular international numbers you call, then you simply call this local number and your call is diverted to the international number. You are charged for a national call by T-Mobile and the international portion of the call is paid to Rebtel at USD 2¢ per minute to Australian landlines and USD 16¢ per minute to Australian mobiles. Check the Rebtel website for rates to other countries .

It only takes around five to 10 minutes to set up a Rebtel account online, however you need to access the internet as soon as you arrive in the US to complete the set up process as Rebtel sends you a text message with your activation code before asigning local US numbers to your international phone numbers. Once it is set up, however, it is a very easy system especially if you save your Rebtel numbers to your phone's address book.

Alernatively, if you have a smart phone with Wi-Fi wireless internet access that can run the Skype app (such as Android phones and the Apple iPhone), then this is another option for making cheap international calls. Please note that you need to be in a Wi-Fi wireless internet hotspot, many coffee shops and even some city parks in the United States have free wireless internet access.
