Settings
Most devices will configure themselves automatically to access the internet after arriving in China. However in some cases you may need to manually configure the following APN settings:
Name: Unicom 3G
Username: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
APN: 3gnet
If you have an Apple iPad or iPhone you can automatically configure your settings my connecting to the internet via Wi-Fi and going to www.unlockit.co.nz, then click "iPhone APN changer", then "Create APN", then select "China" and "China Unicom" and click "Create APN".
Topping up your credit
You can top up your credit online at www.ytcard.net.
Your SIM card is valid 90 days from first use, but this can be extended for up to 180 days each time you top up.
