This electrical adaptor will convert non-earthed two-pin dual-voltage Australian or NZ appliances for use in Japan and USA/Canada.
This adaptor is for appliances designed for 110 volts (including dual voltage appliances).
It will let you use Australian/NZ dual-voltage appliances in the following countries:

| Please note: this adaptor converts two-pin (unearthed) Australian and New Zealand plugs so they work in two-pin Japanese wall sockets. Australian appliances with a three-pin (earthed) plug will not work with this adaptor. Because of Australian safety regulations, it is not possible to buy an adaptor in Australia that lets you use a three-pin plug in a two-pin wall socket. If you are travelling with an appliance with a three-pin plug, your best bet is to buy a European adaptor and then purchase a Europe to Japan adaptor after arriving in Japan (it is much easier to find Europe to Japan adaptors in Japan than Australia to Japan adaptors). |
