This adaptor does not take British plugs. If you have a British appliance that you want to take to Australia or New Zealand you should buy the UK/USA to Australia/NZ adaptor or the Multi Adaptor for Australia.
The Europe/USA to Australia/NZ Adaptor is for appliances designed for 240 volts (including dual voltage appliances). USA/Japanese appliances designed for 110/120 volts should be used with a Step Down Transformer.
