Lebara offers very good value option for accessing data on your mobile while you are visiting Switzerland.

When you activate your SIM you have the option to choose to set your SIM up on either the Lebara Classic or Lebara Simply rate plan. The Classic plan is the best option for most people, however the Lebara Simply plan may be more suitable if most of your calls are either within Switzerland or to mobile phones outside Switzerland.

Lebara SMS Pack

This SMS package costs CHF2.90 per month and gives you a bundle of 50 text messages to mobile phones in Switzerland and abroad.

You add this package by simply texting SMSPACK to 255. The Lebara SMS pack will renew every month until you text SMSPACKSTOP to 255 to deactivate this feature.

Data on your mobile

The standard data rate is CHF0.10 for 10KB data on both the Lebara Classic and Lebara Simply rate plans.

Lebara Surf

There is the option of adding the Lebara Surf data package for CHF4.90, which gives you 120MB data to use within a one month period. Additional data will be charged at CHF0.10 per MB. You can add this package by texting SURF to 255. The Lebara Surf package will renew every month until you text SURF STOP to 255 to deactivate this feature.

Adding credit

You can buy top-up vouchers at thousands of shops throughout Switzerland including train stations, post offices, mobile phone shops, convenience stores, newsagents and supermarkets.

Compulsory SIM card registration

It is compulsory to register your details with us before we can ship your SIM card to you. You will need to send us a copy of either your passport or drivers licence along with the name and nationality of the end user of each SIM card purchased from us. You may either post, email or fax this information to us.

This is compulsory for all SIM cards activated in Switzerland.
