Security elements include exomesh wire in the front and top panels of the bag, and dyneema webbing in the straps to prevent slashing. You can use the Pacsafe X40 plus in conjunction with the Pacsafe Camera PCI Camsafe inserts, or the Travelsafe X25 (both sold separately) to make a great lock and leave secure bag. The Pacsafe X40 plus bag has a main zippered compartment large enough for a 15" Macbook or hydration pack. The front zippered compartment has pockets for cards, phone, passport, and a quick access vertical pocket is at the front of the pack for any items constantly in use. Stretch mesh side pockets hold drinks or umbrellas, and there is even a built in hideaway rain cover for the backpack. A removable divider for the large compartment means you can separate items in your bag, such as camera items or even dirty laundry.
In addition to Pacsafe's main anti-theft features, the VentureSafe X40 PLUS is also built for comfort. The lightweight aluminium harness system manages the load efficiently, and the padded straps and waistband offer support and comfort.
