Aircraft cabin noise sits at around 85 decibels during cruise — roughly the same as a lawnmower running next to you for hours. Add a crying baby, engine hum, and air conditioning roar, and sleeping or concentrating becomes genuinely difficult. These reusable loop earplugs reduce ambient noise to a more manageable level, letting you sleep, focus, or simply decompress without completely cutting yourself off from your surroundings.
Three silicone tip sizes (Small, Medium, Large) are included so you can find the fit that works for your ear canal. A compact transparent carry case keeps them clean and accessible in your bag. Available in Black, Pink, Green, Blue, and White. Ships from Australia.
Important: These are passive noise-reducing earplugs — they reduce ambient sound through physical attenuation, not active noise cancellation (ANC) technology. They are not hearing protection devices rated for industrial or high-decibel environments. If you require certified hearing protection for occupational use, consult the relevant Australian Standard (AS/NZS 1270).

What's Included
- 1 pair of loop earplugs
- 3 pairs of silicone replacement tip covers (Small, Medium, Large)
- 1 compact transparent carry case
How to Use
- Select the silicone tip size that fits your ear canal comfortably — start with Medium if unsure.
- Attach the tip to the earplug stem.
- Gently insert the tip into your ear canal and position the loop over the outer ear for stability.
- The loop should sit flat against the outer ear without pressing uncomfortably.
- To remove, gently pull the loop outward rather than pulling directly on the tip.
Care Instructions
- Rinse the silicone tips with water and mild soap after each use.
- Allow to air dry fully before storing in the carry case.
- Do not use alcohol-based cleaners on the silicone tips as this may degrade the material over time.
- Replace tips if they become misshapen, torn, or no longer seal the ear canal effectively.
Best For
- Long-haul flights where cabin noise makes sleeping or concentrating difficult
- Light sleepers in shared accommodation, hostels, or hotel rooms with noise
- Commuters on trains, buses, or in open-plan offices who want to reduce ambient noise
- Travellers who find foam earplugs uncomfortable or wasteful
- Anyone who wants a reusable, washable earplug they can carry in their bag every day
Not Ideal For
- Industrial or occupational hearing protection — these are not rated to Australian Standard AS/NZS 1270 for workplace noise
- Active noise cancellation — these are passive earplugs, not ANC devices
- Anyone with ear canal conditions or sensitivity — consult a healthcare professional before use
- Complete sound isolation — these reduce ambient noise but do not block all sound
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these active noise cancelling?
No. These are passive noise-reducing earplugs — they reduce ambient sound through physical attenuation (the silicone tip sealing the ear canal), not through electronic active noise cancellation (ANC) technology. They reduce noise rather than eliminating it entirely.
What is the noise reduction rating?
A specific NRR or SNR decibel reduction figure has not been verified for this product. If a precise rating is important for your use case, please contact us before purchasing.
Which tip size should I start with?
Start with Medium if you are unsure — it fits most adult ear canals. If the Medium tip feels loose or doesn't seal well, try Small. If it feels too tight or uncomfortable, try Large. A good seal is important for effective noise reduction.
How do I clean them?
Rinse the silicone tips with water and mild soap after each use and allow to air dry fully before storing. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners as these can degrade the silicone over time.
Can I sleep in these?
Yes — the loop design and soft silicone tips are designed for extended wear. Comfort during sleep depends on your preferred sleeping position. Side sleepers may find the loop presses against the pillow — try different tip sizes to find the most comfortable fit.
Are they suitable for children?
The Small tip size may fit older children, but these earplugs are designed for adult use. We recommend consulting a healthcare professional before use for children, and supervising use at all times.
