Types of Travel Locks

Do I Need a TSA Lock?

If you're flying to or through the United States, TSA-approved locks are strongly recommended for checked baggage. US Transportation Security Administration agents are authorised to open and inspect checked bags — if your bag is locked with a non-TSA lock, they will cut it off. TSA-approved locks (marked with a red diamond logo) can be opened with a TSA master key and re-locked after inspection.
